2026 Worthy Derby

The 2026 Worthy Derby saw nearly 70 cars among 5 different divisions. Results were determined by fastest run out of 3 ( The two slower runs were dropped).

This year featured a 5 oz. limit (degree a variation to 1/10 oz.) in the standard divisions. The Open division had no weight limit to see who could create the fastest running Derby Car.

* *Avg Speed (MPH) is scaled speed; not the actual speed. Scale speed refers to the speed at which a pinewood car should move to appear as if it is moving at the same speed as if a full size car would be moving from an observer's perspective.

Noah takes the championship with Kaden coming in a close second and Mason coming in third.

Samuel takes the 'chip. Lincoln and Ben close behind.

Mountain Lions

George gets the fastest single time of the group, while Mason and Micah come in close behind.

Adventure-Gators

Brothers JQ and Michael come in 1-2 and Rigby gets third.

Open Division

**The sensor in lane one came out of alignment during the race. Therefore all times from lane 1 were omitted and the fastest single time from lanes 2 or 3 were used.

Records were broken in the Open Division!
